Laura Robson has made it through to the second round of only her second junior grand slam appearance, hoping to emulate her success at last year’s Wimbledon.

She beat American Christina McHale in straight sets 7-5 6-3 in a match lasting 80 minutes. McHale is ranked over 100 places higher than Laura in the seniors, so this is a great win for her.
