Laura’s still going strong in the Optus Nottinghill International in Australia. Earlier today she beat Sandra Zaniewska 6-4 7-5, which judging by that result appears to be her most challenging match yet.

Another quick update on Laura’s progress in the Optus Nottinghill International tournament currently underway in Australia, Laura has won her second round match against Australia’s own Sophie Letcher in straight sets, 6-3 6-3.

Her third round match is taking place today and is against Sandra Zaniewska of Poland.

Laura’s won her first match of the Optus Nottinghill International 2009 in Australia. Laura, who is seeded 3, beat Martina Borecka of the Czech Republic in what seems like a fairly straightforward 6-3 6-2 victory.

She goes on to play Sophie Letcher of Australia in the second round.
