I just thought I'd say hi properly

I'm Charlie (real name Charlotte but it's just easier) I'm from Cheshire and I'm looooving Wimbledon this year.

My friends all think I'm obsessed because I watch it all day every day! Grin

Speak to you all around

I spent the whole day playing tennis Tongue

My friends think I'm wasting my time but they can think what they want. I never got to watch it the past few years because of school but now I can and I'm going to!

Hi Charlie, don't worry, my daughter is a tennis nut, she is gutted that Rafa's not there this yeah!
But she has told us she's not leaving the house tomorrow, so she's still watching the other guys lol!
Thumbs up for Laura again, quite a comprehensive victory today, march on girl....march on!!

Oh I don't mind that Rafa isn't there...means Rog or Andy might win Smiley

Laura is going to be amazing...especially from the way she's been playing in all of her other matches!

yeah you guys just keep playing/watching tennis lol

Yeah you guys should join a clubs. Dunno how long any of you have played for, but if you're still young-ish then there's time for you to get awesome, get into Wimbledon, then who knows, maybe you'll have someone start up a fansite for you! Tongue

Well I've been playing since year 6 and came 2nd in our Cheshire singles and 1st in our Cheshire doubles but that was just for school.

My next door neighbour invited me to the club...thought it might be weird playing with her Undecided

That would be so weird to see a fansite about myself! I hope that doesn't happen...I take dreadful pictures!

Yes, I will join one from september.
But in capital, we don't have club here.

Well I am 14, but not a beginner.
I am pretty good, but I want to be better. Grin

Sure I can't become pro, but I can play and enjoy my game. Wink (becoming pro here is almost not posiblle)

But who knows...
(Lleyton started at age of 13, but different times)

See I'm 16 and feel completely lazy so I've dusted off my racket and started playing again...I'm alright but just have to practise...I've got no one to practise with though and I'm not really the most independant and competative person

I've never been on a clay court. What's it like?

You mean a hard court as in gravel/tarmac?

Well coaches say beginners should start on clay.
But never heared that players should play on clay whole life.
As we don't have another...

*Playing on clay is enjoyment.
You move fast, the bounce is slow and low.
Great!!! Wink
