Laura is on Court 12 today (at 12 o'clock) for her next round of doubles. Good luck to her and Georgie!!

It's a shame they didn't win Sad I really thought they would be able to win that 2nd set when they were 3-0 up but I guess that they weren't so lucky.

They played really well though and should both be proud that they got through to the 2nd round and I'm sure they will do equally as well if they play together again if not better Smiley

Yeah....but still, look at their opponents....2009 French Open champion Kuznetsova and 2006 Wimbledon champion Mauresmo.
I mean, surely winning one or two games off them is to be expected. I was stunned to see them compete so well against them....as I was when Laura was playing Hantuchova. Massive gulf in experience and achievements.
I think the commentators sometimes fail to account for the difference sometimes.

I thought the same...they fought them really well.
Laura's only had a few senior matches so she did really well in them. The critics always put them down so much but they never take into account the amount of experience that they've had.

I'm just hoping that the BBC are going to cover the Junior tournament on the TV as much as they are with the men and women's tournament....do we know what day it starts yet?
