Laura and her partner Georgie Stroup, aged 21, beat fellow English players Anna Smith and Jade Curtis 6-4, 3-6, 13-11 in a really long match of almost 3 hours!

I personally loved today's match! I was on the edge of my seat for the last set...there were so many times when they could have lost but almost so many times they could have won.

I feel sorry that Anna and Jade went out as they played really well but I'm so glad that Laura and Georgie got through!

Yeah - great match! Very pleased that Laura got through; after losing out in the singles it must be a great boost that she’s moving ahead in the doubles. Looking forward to her next match!

They're playing the 16th seeds next aren't they? Shocked

That should be a thrilling match to watch!

I don't watch doubles, but when Laura is playing how can I not watch.
 Grin
She enjoys doubles, that's great.
They have the support from the England crowd and that's great.
Laura is not afraid to play against seeded players, so she won't be this time.

It's good that she enjoys doubles...means that she'll put all her heart in to winning.

No offence to her but I think Georgie Stoop lets her down a when Laura's hitting all these rallies from the baseline and then Georgie hits a shot and misses.

But I guess really it's just luck most of the time

Do you watch them live? From London?

Just asking, becouse they rarely let doubles on TV.
Just in England on some of their TV channels. Undecided
