I thought it would be interesting to see how many of you play tennis whether it's professionally or just for fun.

I play tennis for fun and used to play for our school team. My mum offered to let me join a tennis club but I didn't want to at that time. Bad decision Tongue

What about you?

Started off playing with my Dad when I was kid, in my early teens played with a friend at local tennis court which I tried to attend most Saturday's during the summer months.
Played in one small tournament in my county but lost my first match 6-1 6-0 so never really got any confidence from that, but I do lack confidence anyway so that was a problem.

Just kinda stopped playing after that though which is a shame, and now I don't really know anyone else who plays.

Yeh I lack confidence too....my mum said I like the sport but don't like the competition side of it. Then again I could never really see myself playing against all of these players you see on the telly. I'd just embarass myself.

I'm trying to play as much as I can now that I'm off but the only competition that I've got at the moment is my next door neighbours garage wall! Cheesy

Haha I know how you feel, at my old house whenever I came home from school during the summer I'd go out in the garden and start playing against the garage wall. Good times! Tongue

I do play.

Sometimes with my friends, it's hard playing with them.
They don't play good. Roll Eyes Better said they don't play.
